MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN
Dear Students,
Nowadays, there is an undeniable demand in the construction industry for civil engineers who own distinguishing features. These certain features can be lined as; to be specialized in sub-disciplines, to have advanced communication skills, to speak English well, to manage adaptability in teamwork and to be capable of achieving computer aided design. English education programme presented by our department will allow you to specialize at the sub-disciplines of Geotechnics, Structure, Transportation, Materials of Construction and Water Resources. Thus, the programme will offer the opportunity to work in interdisciplinary studies and consequently will provide you the advantage of finding a suitable job in the sector. In addition, you can attend to technical site visits and expand your social network with various activities such as career days and seminars, with the support of our active student community.
In our department, you will be able to study abroad during one or two semesters at contacted universities via ERASMUS (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) Student Exchange Programme and to take an active part in research projects carried out by the academic staff.
